Starting off with a bang
The mixed team has wasted no time getting going, kicking off their run in ESEA Season 52 with back-to-back victories. Their first victory came against GamerLab in a tightly contested match, where Eversio managed to stop a valiant comeback effort by GamerLab in the final round of regulation. The 13-11 scoreline could have swung either way, with standout plays in clutch situations from newcomers -uNkn0wn7 and zE narrowly turning the tide in Eversio’s favour.
Building on that momentum, the team delivered a dominant performance against TrShadows10, securing a commanding 13-3 victory. It would be team captain Zelli0n leading the charge this time dropping four 3ks across the match.
What’s different this season?
In a post-game interview following the mixes’ debut victory, team captain Zelli0n highlighted how the goal for this season is to take the competition more casually while giving an opportunity to more local players to compete.
Where to watch the games
The team’s matches for this season are being streamed live on Project EVERSIO’s very own Twitch channel.
Matches currently take place every Monday and Wednesday at 8 PM but fans should make sure to follow Project EVERSIO’s socials to be updated in the event of any rescheduled.
Looking ahead to the rest of the season
It’s great to see Project EVERSIO’s Counter-Strike team back in action, especially with such an innovative approach this season. By introducing a nine-man roster, the organisation is not only addressing past scheduling issues but also fostering the growth of local talent. We can’t wait to see how they do!
