Tournament Format
The Iron King tournament features a unique format. Players’ names are drawn at random and must play a first-to-five round BO1. The loser of the match is eliminated and the winner stays on. This means that being an early pick would be disadvantageous as you would need to win a lot more games overall. Intended as a more casual event, participants would announced alongside a backing track and description of their choice with trophies for the longest streak and last man standing.

Tournament Overview
The event featured twenty participants with the first names drawn being _CLeaR_ and Vladi. After a quick 5:0, _CLeaR_ moved on, with Visionary Iron Team’s SuperSantoro being drawn next. SuperSantoro would proceed to go on an incredible win streak. After ploughing through his next four opponents with ease, it finally seemed like SuperSantoro would meet his match against AddictTekken. However, SuperSantoro would claw his way back from a 1:3 deficit winning the match in a nailbitingly close 5:4 fashion.
SuperSantoro would continue to dominate the competition, knocking out the next seven participants with ease, including Euphoria Gaming’s Nell and Project Eversio’s Lyonidas amongst others. After a twelve-game win streak, it would be Fratellu to finally put an end to SuperSantoro, winning his match 5:2.
Fratellu’s victory would be short-lived however, only managing one more victory before being knocked out by Il-Baħħar. Il-Baħħar would maintain his strong form, winning his next three games and ending the tournament as the last man standing.
