Agony were perennial favourites in domestic events, claiming first or second place in almost every tournament they entered. Their crowning achievements were consecutive victories on Malta’s biggest stage, Playcon (2023 & 2024), as well as triumph in the Kia LoL Series 2022, which earned them the honour of representing Malta in an international Kia Nations show-match cast by Caedrel.

The rivalry between Agony, and the other top team in Malta, Project Eversio, was one that sparked very heated competition over the past several years. However, with former Agony players Aconic and Livingdream both playing for Eversio in the 4 Nations League, and with Aconic’s statement in the Xi Smite? podcast earlier last month, it looks like the team is done for good.
Full respect to all Agony players who created a last legacy in the LoL community.
