Thunderpick World Championship Coming to Malta

According to a press release published on 19 May, the $1 million prize pool CS2 event will take place in Malta in October.

One of the largest independent CS2 competitions, organised by the crypto casino, sportsbook, and esports betting site Thunderpick, will have the top 8 teams duke it out for the lion’s share of the prize pool in the land of honey.

The Thunderpick World Championship’s qualifiers events have been underway since May, with competitions held in Europe, North America, and South America.

For fans who have missed top-tier Counter-Strike following the ESL Pro League’s departure from Malta, this is very welcome news.
