Malta National League Season 2 Format Changes
The majority of the rules are the same as the 1st season; however, this time round, Eden Esports have decided to include some new changes:
- Teams will not be limited by nationality, as this has been updated to residency. The rules still allow 2 of 5 players to be foreigners; however, 3 of 5 must be residents or Maltese nationals.
- Tournament format has also been changed, as the tournament will now follow a GSL-style format, which will take a significant amount of influence from double elimination brackets.
Malta National League Season 2 Prize Pool

- 1st place – €1000
- 2nd place – €500
MNL Season 2 Schedule
Matches are set to commence on the 9th and 10th of January; however, no official schedule has been announced at the time of writing. With teams still in time to register, we will have to wait for an official announcement from Eden Esports. We will be updating the schedule list on our website as soon as the times and schedule are announced.
Much like the 1st season, the Malta National League Season 2 is definitely going to deliver some of the best local Counter-Strike the island has to offer, and it will be very exciting to see if the #1 will have an outstanding performance in the EDC qualifying stages.
