Match Briefing for the Warzone Eliminations Easter Eggstravaganza

Game 1 – Trios

In the first round, the circle leaned towards the ice houses, North of Verdansk. Here, Last Man Standing fought off team Born2Kill in the final stages of the game, and took them down to grab the Warzone victory. One thing worth noting is that Smonk ended the match with 14 eliminations!

Game 2 – Duos

As mentioned in the announcement article, the format of the event meant that one of the players of the trio, with the least damage inflicted had to drop out. This incentivised people to go for kills as kill points were increased to 2, instead of 1. Last Man Standing took advantage of this, and grabbed a total of 12 kills, as well as the win in the final circle. This is how it ended:

Game 3 – Solos

The solos was by far the sweatiest of all game modes. This lobby only consisted of 13 players due to a couple of teams dropping out from the tournament. The match was obviously set in a mini royale format, and here we saw Born2Kill’s ItsCiccio taking the win after taking down Gypsum X’s Migi1104. Here’s the final play:

Disappointing results at the Warzone Eliminations Easter Eggstravaganza

During the tournament there was one team that everyone was looking towards, Project Eversio. They have been the most dominant team in the scene by far, but unfortunately, they didn’t perform up to par with their usual performance. The team had a very bad first game, and they didn’t manage to get their momentum to where it usually is. Obviously, this was very disappointing for the team as it was Zelli0n’s first showing with the team in a local tournament.

We’re sure to get more Warzone events in the near future, so be sure to keep yourselves notified on all the local esports news by following Esports Malta on all the social media platforms!
