What are the Malta Madness tournaments?
During the announcement of season one late last year, the organisers described Malta Madness as a “tournament for the local Maltese playerbase” with the aim of pitching “the best teams in Malta against each other.” Sponsored by GamingMalta and hosted by ESL, the inaugural season saw eleven teams fight it out for a share of the €2500 prize pool with Team Agony eventually winning the event live on stage at Playcon 2023.
