World Pro Racing Raises €6,000 for Puttinu Cares

World Pro Racing’s latest charity drive shows the power of esports when it is harnessed for good.

The local sim-racing company has been fundraising for Puttinu Cares, a non-profit organisation that supports cancer patients and their families.

Last year, CEO Justin Mifsud announced a series of six 24-hour sim-racing marathons. Although he intended to drive each marathon solo, teams of other racers were invited to join, with all entry fees and donations going directly to Puttinu Cares.

  • Race 1 (September 2024) – raised €3,000
  • Race 2 (March 2025) – raised €3,000

Four marathons remain, but the €6,000 raised so far has already exceeded expectations, and the community has taken notice.

Highlights

Apart from Justin’s solo entry, eleven other teams lined up on the grid:

Justin himself finished an impressive third overall, despite shouldering the entire eight-hour stint alone.

Well played, Justin—and well played, World Pro Racing!
