Crossover 2024 – What is it?
According to their twitter bio, Crossover 2024 is the ultimate FGC event in all of Germany. It is also a part of the Tekken World Tour 2024 as a Challenger event, one tier less than a major. As listed on their tournament page, there will be 200+ players attending the Tekken event, and some of the most prominent names in the space will be participating. Some of these names feature: JoKa, JDCR, Kirakira, Oracle_99 as well as Tetsu, the winner of the last edition of the EU cup.
Tournament Format & Schedule
The tournament kicks off on Saturday 3rd August and will end the next day, Sunday 4th. It will also follow a best of 3 double elimination format. Then, for the Losers/Winners/Grand Finals, the format switches to a Best of 5. Take a look below at Crossover 2024’s schedule:
Who is Lyonidas up against in Tekken Crossover 2024?
Lyonidas slots into Pool TB2, a bracket of 25 participants, grouped with some well known members of the Tekken scene. These being: NAVI Kkokkoma, YSK Rocketer as well as Daora. Not an easy group by any stretch, but this isn’t the first time Lyonidas has qualified to the main stage in these big European events. Fans and Supporters of Lyon will be hoping he makes it through and goes far in the tournament!
Here are some of his thoughts heading into the event:
I feel like I’m under a lot of pressure and not at the same time. I really want to showcase what I’ve been practicing, but only my actions will speak for me. I’m facing a professional player named KKokkoma, who is currently sponsored by Navi. I’ve faced him before and won, but now I’m sure he’s prepared for me. Let’s hope for the best!

When it comes to Tekken, Project EVERSIO’s Lyonidas is not only a big name in Maltese esports, as he is also quite well known amongst some of the best players in Tekken.
