Finalized Team Lineup
After an intense series of qualifiers, the Malta Cyber Series VIII teams are finalized, and the competition will see the following competing for the trophy:
- Team Secret (Invited Team)
- ENCE
- Wolves Esports
- FNATIC
- MACKO Esports
- Into The Breach
Originally there were 2 invites slots planned however, due to G2 Esports’ withdrawal from the event, they’ve allowed a 5th spot from the qualifiers to advance to the main event.
Tournament Format and Prize Distribution
The tournament will follow a double-elimination format, ensuring teams have a second chance even after an initial loss. Matches leading up to the Grand Final will be Bo3, while the Grand Final itself will be a Bo5, with the upper bracket winner receiving a one-map advantage.
The $20,000 prize pool will be distributed as follows:
- 1st – $12,000
- 2nd – $5,000
- 3rd – $3,000
Malta Cyber Series VIII Teams Finalized – Bracket
According to the liquipedia page of the Malta Cyber Series VIII we already have the initial match-ups scheduled to play on the 14th of March. ENCE will be taking on Into The Breach, of which the winner will face the invited roster of Team Secret. On the other side of the bracket we have FNATIC facing MACKO Esports, and since Wolves Esports were the eventual winner of the grand final they advance directly through the Upper Bracket Semifinals.
