Tekken 8 Dojo Event Overview
The tournament featured eighteen participants, including five visitors from Poland who flew over to participate. Apart from the trophies and medals up for grabs, the tournament was also classified as a ‘Dojo’ event, meaning that it contributes points towards the global Tekken World Tour points system, and it was the first Dojo in Malta for the year 2024.
SuperSantoro, an Italian player residing in Malta and one of the local favourites, was on superb form, defeating everyone without losing a set until the Grand Finals. However, the Polish contingent pushed back and it was ultimately Frizen who managed to defeat SuperSantoro twice to claim first place, despite coming in from the lower bracket.
