Format for EEG CS:GO European League
The event will consist of a Round Robin during its group stage format. Teams will be split into 8 groups, having 4 teams each. The top 2 from each group will be advancing to the playoffs stage. Important to keep in mind that all matches in the group stage will be played in a best of 3 format. If there are any ties during the group stage, they will be examined by order of Head-to-Head, Map Difference, and lastly, Round Difference.
Then in the playoffs, the 16 teams that qualified from the group stage will compete in a single-elimination bracket, where all matches are in a best of 3.
There will be a total of 32 teams participating in the tournament. Bear in mind that the roster lock will take place at 19:00 GMT, just before the first match takes place. Meaning that if you have any subs that you would like to include, add them now before it’s too late!
The tournament will start with the first set of matches in the group stage, on the 28th of January. The group stage will then conclude on the 4th of February, and on the 7th, the playoffs continue. The Grand Final will commence on the 14th of February. Here below is a full schedule list of the EEG CS:GO European League: Season 1:
