EEG CS:GO European League

The 1st season of the EEG CS:GO European League is set to kick off tomorrow on the 28th of January. The event will feature a number of talented CS:GO teams scattered around Europe, competing for a sum of the €500 prize pool. Here’s everything you need to know about it.

Format for EEG CS:GO European League

The event will consist of a Round Robin during its group stage format. Teams will be split into 8 groups, having 4 teams each. The top 2 from each group will be advancing to the playoffs stage. Important to keep in mind that all matches in the group stage will be played in a best of 3 format. If there are any ties during the group stage, they will be examined by order of Head-to-Head, Map Difference, and lastly, Round Difference.

Then in the playoffs, the 16 teams that qualified from the group stage will compete in a single-elimination bracket, where all matches are in a best of 3.

Participating Teams

There will be a total of 32 teams participating in the tournament. Bear in mind that the roster lock will take place at 19:00 GMT, just before the first match takes place. Meaning that if you have any subs that you would like to include, add them now before it’s too late!
