Eden Esports Rocket League Duos Format
The format is going to be somewhat similar to the other tournament we covered a few days ago. The event will feature a Single Round Robin Group Stage between 4-8 teams participating. After the Round Robin is concluded, a certain number of teams (based on how many teams partake in the tournament) advance onto the Double-Elimination playoff bracket. The event will take around 6 hours, so be sure to prepare everything you need for this long session of gaming!
It’s important to remember that you need to bring your very own controller and controller wire, if you’re not participating with a keyboard and mouse.
Where and When?
The event is to take place at the Eden Superbowl, located in Baystreet, St.Julians. The tournament is scheduled for the 13th of February to playout between 1pm-6pm.
Prizes
As mentioned in their announcement, 50% of the entry fee paid, will contribute towards the prize pool. Eden Esports will be distributing the total prize pool between the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd placing teams. Here is how the prize money will be spread:
- 1st – 50% of prize pool
- 2nd – 30% of prize pool
- 3rd – 20% of prize pool
