Valid Unit bringing on Axility and Gladz – Who did they sign?

Valid Unit have brought on Andy “Axility” Ciappara for their Valid Academy team, as well as Gary “Gladz” Caruana as a streamer. 

Starting with Axility, 17 years of age, started competing in Fortnite in the late stages of 2020. He had formerly represented Mystic Esports since January of 2020, but with the shutting down announcement that recently emerged, Axility was left teamless. Now he’s looking to move forward and improve himself with Valid Unit’s Academy. The teammates alongside Axility were none other than the talented duo of Aisa and Zenabz. With them he managed to place highly in a myriad of events, most notably the recent Duos and Trios events hosted by Level Academy.

Why did Axility join Valid?

Valid in my opinion is currently the best organisation in Malta when it comes to Fortnite competition. I joined Valid as part of its academy to improve both in game and mentally. With the help of the staff I will definitely improve as a player. This will eventually lead me into the official Fortnite scene. Hopefully after ending my probation period with Valid, I will show promising results to motivate Valid into promoting me onto the main team.

What about Gladz?

On the other hand we’ve got 15-year-old Gladz, joining Valid Unit as one of their main Fortnite content creators. Gladz has gained a huge following on his twitch stream, reaching a total of 63.7k followers. He had been with Mystic Esports, however again, with the team closing, Gladz was looking for someone to represent. And that’s when Valid gave him the offer. He has now agreed to be a part of the Valid Unit family and intends to create content in their name for the coming months.

Valid Unit bringing on Axility and Gladz is definitely great news. Despite Mystic Esports closing down, teamless members were still able to find a new home, and that’s what esports is about.
