Red Bull Strijders FIFA 21 playoffs – Who Qualified?

This time round in the FIFA qualifiers we’ve got WONCU-1, Shaun10x, Inactivex and Lawfu making it big. They all had a challenging road ahead in the process of their qualification. Here’s a brief breakdown of each player’s journey:

WONCU-1:

WONCU was the most dominant player in the entire tournament, taking down all 6 opponents, including the other 3 that qualified. He started with a 3-0 win versus Dnzgn35, and then moved on to win 5-1 versus Zappy. His next opponent was Lawfu in the Quarterfinals, but WONCU had no problem as he was victorious with a 5-0 scoreline. He then took down Shaun10x 2-1, and then won versus inactivex 4-0. Then in the finals he was matched once more versus Shaun10x, and WONCU was crowned champion with 3-2.

Shaun10x:

Shaun10x was very close to winning it all, but eventually WONCU got the best of him and he finished in 2ndplace. Shaun started his tournament with back to back to back wins versus Mark (9-0), Peqqii (6-2), and Mori_beast9 (4-0). He progressed to the semifinals, and here he had his first match-up against WONCU which he lost 2-1. Shaun dropped into the losers bracket and won the following matches against Dunstan12 (3-2), lawfu (3-1), and Inactivex (2-1). He reached the Grand Finals but unfortunately his dreams were crushed against WONCU.

Inactivex:

Inactivex, similar to Shaun10x got an insane winning streak, winning his first 4 initial matches against IsaacKyleGrima, Luke Bartolo, EGKursten, and brownilking. Here is where he met WONCU in the upper bracket finals, and lost 4-0. Unfortunately with this loss he was dropped into the losers bracket, and took on Shaun10x in the losers finals. It didn’t end well for Inactivex as he lost 2-1, and finished in 3rd place.

Lawfu:

And then in 4th, we’ve got Lawfu, kicking it all off with 2 impactful wins in the beginning of the tournament. Unfortunately he lost 5-0 against WONCU in the match after, and dropped to the losers bracket. Here he was tasked with slowly climbing through the lower bracket, and that is exactly what he did. Somehow, Lawfu managed to seal the deal and get 3 consecutive wins, eliminating Klawka, Mori_beast9, as well as brownilking, to secure his spot in the playoffs.
